The GfK U.S. Healthcare Companies is proud
to announce the appointment of Brian Hull, M.B.A, as the new President
of GfK Strategic Marketing. Brian takes on the leadership role following
the departure of Marty Glogowski, a 30-year pharmaceutical marketing
research industry veteran, who last month announced his retirement.

Over the last 15 years, Brian has worked in all aspects of global
primary marketing research in the pharmaceutical industry. He has
spent the last five years working at GfK Strategic Marketing’s
sister company, GfK V2, as an Executive Vice President, where he
successfully grew and led a strategic business unit. Last year,
Medical, Marketing & Media honored Brian as an industry
"rising star." He was one of 15 professionals (and the
only pharmaceutical marketing researcher and consultant) to be included
among the medical marketing industry's most valuable prospects.
Brian is skilled in all phases of qualitative and quantitative research
methodologies, ranging in scope from new product/market assessments,
product positioning and repositioning, pricing, product tracking
and promotional effectiveness research. He has spent several years
managing teams of account managers, project managers and analysts
servicing a wide range of clients with sophisticated research techniques.
Prior to working at GfK V2, Brian spent the early part of his career
at Migliara/Kaplan Associates, a global primary pharmaceutical marketing
research company, where he became a Senior Vice President and led
multiple strategic business units. Brian also played a critical
role in the successful development of a start-up Internet primary
marketing research firm, where he was responsible for business development
and led the creation of a new Internet sales force and message effectiveness
methodology. Brian holds a Masters in Business Administration from
Indiana University.
As President of GfK Strategic Marketing, Brian will work with clients
to design and conduct insightful research that reduces decision-making
risk and he will provide leadership and guidance to the firm’s
staff of consultants.
